SHADOW DAY
Not ready to commit? Come see us first.
We offer two hour shadow days on Fridays and Saturdays for enrolled cosmetology students. No application. No requirements. Just come in, watch how a real commission salon runs, ask the team anything you want, and get a feel for whether Hey Hello is your kind of place.
The team is an open book. Ask about money, ask about clients, ask about what a slow Tuesday actually looks like. We'd rather you know exactly what you're getting into before you commit to anything.
Sometimes there's even an opportunity to help a little. Nothing crazy, just a real taste of what assisting looks like.
Spots are limited so reserve yours ahead of time by shooting us a dm or email. All you need is to be an enrolled cosmetology student.
Our Mission
THE EXTERN PROGRAM
The Hey Hello Externship.
Your last 250 or so hours, spent with us instead of finishing up at school. Here's what you actually do:

Get trained on Hey Hello standards from day one.

Assist behind the chair and get your hands in real hair with real clients.

Go through social media training so you graduate with a presence worth having.

Build a list of what you want to learn and work through it with your mentor stylist.

Learn the foundations of our CoStylist program. It's the same one our team is built on.
At the end of your extern there's an opportunity to apply if it's a good fit on both sides. No pressure, no guarantee, just an open door for the right person.
